My daughter is 17 and has PCOS.  She’s taking Yasmin which is a kind of birth control pill for it.   She was also tested for insulin resistance which a lot of people with PCO also have and she is taking Metformin for that.  I would stay away from that insolite stuff - there are good prescription drugs that you can take for it.
