Ouch that sounds like a headache and a half. I went to the site you gave, and was surprised that I wasn’t led through a myriad of "pleas eby this!" pages like the last time I tried to check our credit report.

We are currently going through a debt settlement program because our credit card debt began to spiral after 9/11 (when prices rose and work hours were cut back). We worked hard at trying to fend off something like that, but for the past year the credit card companies were inching up our interest rate, in spite of always paying on time. We finally reached a point where our income was being spend on credit card payments and we were using the credit cards to buy food and medicine, and it was still spiralling up. But, I was surprised that my credit report didn’t look as bad as I thought it would. Also no mysterious out of state loans.
