I had amnio last year, and my husband, myself and my SWCAH son had to have genetic testing in order to see if the baby had it or not.  I dont really understand how it all works.  They had to compare the babies genetic profile to ours.  They acted like they could not determine if the baby had CAH or not unless they had our genetic profiles.  Anyway I had a baby girl with CAH.  I took dex starting at 6 wks of my preg.  My baby girl turned out fine.
