re: re: Hydrocortisone and Pred together ?

I’ve been taking my hydro but replacing doses when or wereI felt that I needed it with the eight times stronger pred and I feel even better than I did before.

I work 12 hour shifts and walk at least 2 miles after with no  trouble and when it isn’t hot I’ll do three. I got the idea to did this because during the cancer treatment (two years ago) was taking the hyro plus extra and then dex with the chemo - felt awesome except for the last week of radiation where the radiation burning was uncomfortable.  When I was in the hospital eleven days and given more hydro plus the solu- medrol for going under during scopes and the gall bladder surgery, I never had pain - felt great but was edgy as time went by being cooped up there.

Also, was wondering if taking a little more would help things that start as colds not turn into something more just sick of going for that hospital stay every couple of months. So decided to give it a try : ) They did their sugery experiments on me ....so just wanted to give this a try and feel awesome all around even losing that foot shuffle that I had in the morning. Called my endo that I really like and always will even though he wasn’t interested in the idea- "no" he went .....viva la difference and not even bummed that it wasn’t even considered. Medicine isn’t perfect and been my personal experience that surgeries cause blockages and cancer isn’t diagnosed because well.....we just saw the anemia, they can out right hurt  you by putting a stethoscope on an area that was radiated but that was my fault for going to a cancer treatment then going to another Doc office and telling her about the radiation pain ...yep medicine isn’t perfect and can’t be because of the very nature. So just maybe taking more pred at times might be helpful for some of us. Like the story the three bears and this bed is to hard, this bed is to softy and this one is just right.

I feel even better since doing this and wanted to know if anyone else did also by taking both the hydro and pred. I like my endo and always will but I’m not just a lab number.  I thought if others did this or had research articles? then maybe it would help my case.

peace
