JoGender Identity and being Gay are two completely seperate issues. There has been a lot of research into gender identity and CAH, showing that most affected do not have a problem and feel they have been assigned the correct sex. There is no real evidence that people with CAH have any more gender identity problems than anyone else. I therefore feel this article is incorrect by stating CAH is a cause for gender identity problems.
Choosing a partner of the same sex, does not mean you have a gender identity problem. I believe there is a slightly higher incidence of homosexuality in CAH BUT am not convinced it is caused by the condition itself. Some females in the past have had very poor surgery and perhaps feel more comfortable with other females than men (due to all the poiking and proding they have suffered throughout childhood - generally by male doctors), so perhaps this is why they make the choice they do? Who knows, everyone makes their own choices in life but I do not think blaming a medical condition, in this case CAH, is very helpful and papers such as this one cause more upset and annoyance than assistance.
