CARES Conference in NJ
Nov. 12th, 2006   10:05pm
I am just back from the CARES conference ( Carol.. so sorry.. we just had to go... we made it fine... GW bridge and all )

It was well worth it to go.

Just when I think I "know everything" I find out a new trick or two. Not only was it FANTASTIC for my child to meet other children and for myself to meet other parents but it is also informative to hear what other doctors have to say and to learn what is coming in the future of CAH.
For example there is a slow release hydrocortisone tablet in the works!
Oh and guess what!?!?!?! (very big smile)
I now have an AUTOGRAPHED copy of

Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia: A Parents’ Guide by C. Y. Hsu and Scott A. Rivkees

If you have been thinking about going to a CARES conference, start planning now for the next one.
As my nine year old said about 5 minutes after leaving,
"That was good. Can we do it again next year."

Thank you to all who made it possible.

Susan
