EdenMy husband, my mother, my brother-in-law and I drove up and back from Maryland yesterday. It was a wonderful conference!! Our sonis only three months old. I already knew the basics, but to see grown ups with the condition really was great for me. I feel confident that my son will be "ok". And there are so many new treatments being discussed. It was great fro my husband because his first language is spanish --the one hour discussion in Spanish turned in to two hours and it was wonderful. Dr. Diaz was so informed and my husband was able to ask more specific questions because he was able to understand the disease in more detail than when he hears about it in English. I am so happy for him that he got to express some of his fears in his primary language and have a knowledgable doctor discuss them with him and assauge his daddy-fears.
