I don’t know if this response will help or not, but here goes. I have a daughter and she took Lupron for about 8 years - from the age or 5 to 13. It did stop the advancing puberty and allowed her to continue to grow by slowing down the advancing bone age while she grew. Her growth did slow down, but growth continued on for years longer than it would have otherwise. That is precisely what should happen. You are not looking for continued rapid growth. Without Lupron, my daughter may not have grown to be any taller than 4’7" according to the drs. With Lupron, she reached 5’ 3-1/2" which is 3" taller than me! She comes from a short family, so she reached a very good height and we were very pleased with the Lupron. She had no adverse side effects from the Lupron - except being sore at the injection site for a day or two. When we discontinued it, puberty resumed within a very short period and progressed normally. She is now 18 yrs old.Kay
