I recall someone saying that when blood is drawn to check 17ohp, it needs to be frozen when sent to the lab. I know that the lab where my daughter’s blood has been checked says just to refrigerate it. I’ve looked online at websites for different labs and there is a lot of difference. Some say freeze, some say refrigerate, some don’t say to do anything. Does anyone know anything about this? Could this significantly affect the reliability of lab results?
