Hi Jen,

I’m going to see the movie "Bobby" about Robert Fitzgerald Kennedy and the racial charged  late 60’s  this Thanksgiving.

Oprah had a show on present day racial and other issues in a High School. At the end was a song by John Mayer called "Waiting on the World to Change."

Anyone regardless of what color of the rainbow can be racist and has to do with fear of others that don’t look like and/or have the same socioeconomic background advantages as yourself. Also, toss in individual experiences good/bad that will shape ones views.

I worked in some dangerous ghetto areas and I admit that I was pretty darn comfortable although I was always cautious but white privileged men  and the areas that they inhabit turn my internal threat meter on high alert because THEY WERE THE ones that stood in judgement of how my body should look even though I was just a child.

WE  need to make her look normal and lets slice away what the adrenal gland did. What the human that owns the body thinks about it or the fact that we are going to take peaks to see how well we did and so what about this thing’s diginity or modesty. We own this thing and need to fix it.   WE are White Men that know what is Best.

I work in a wealthy area with doctors on every street and they are nice, polite and some are even just goofy  but THEY bring out something that isn’t nice in me which works for my job because I’m not paid to be all that nice anyway and I’m not paid to trust them and I don’t.......heck a bunch of wife beaters for all I know.

I work hard at being nice enough to them but I slipped and this one saw it in my eyes - He looked scared in his Mercedes as that smug privileged look washed away.
