Both of my  SW  CAH boys have run into trouble with low blood sugar after a stomach bug.  Same situation of mild illness but not much eating, and kept oral meds down.

Now if my kids vomit they get a shot and I wake them at nigth to re-dose and give a sweet drink.

We are going to go to NIH for the natural history study and they are sending a glucose monitor home.
