Need Advise

I work in the behavioral health field, and a friend to someone that I provide services to has told me that the person I provide services to is psuedo-hermaphodite.  If this is true, it does explain a lot of things as to why the services I have provided has not worked.  After doing much reading, and based on additional history this woman has provided to me, but without asking the woman to verify the information provided to me by her friend, it would appear to me that she has CAH.   I would like some advise if this subject is brought up, in what ways can I best support her?  I partly feel that I should bring up this subject to her.  Then the other ethic side is to not bring it up because she may not be ready to disclose.  With this new information, I can now understand why she is not progressing in her recovery as services have not been specific to processing issues that can be related to having CAH.   I feel her needs would be best met by providing materials and services geared toward dealing with having CAH and also f/u with proper medical care.  And ethically, I feel responsible now to inform her psychiatrist of this information I have found out, because although medication regime may not be changed, unless it could be aggravating corticoid levels, but at least it will help the prescriber to understand better, and also assist with her advocacy for services for this particular individual.  I hope this gives you an idea in a nutshell of what I’m trying to explain.  Everyone’s advise is appreciated and will be considered.  Thanks so much for your feedback.
