Hair that smells.....puberty or what?

Ok everyone. I have a question. My daughter that is 9 years old and has SWCAH had started this smelly hair thing last year. She went through some emotional times last year. In June her endocrinologst said she had breast buds so I assume that is the start of puberty? The smelly hair thing went away during the summer. I didn’t notice any emotions all over anymore either. Then I thought the smelly hair could have been connected to maybe the strong chlorine in the swimming pool we had been in constantly then. AND it went away after we stopped going to the pool. SO I kept thinking nah, it can’t be hormonal related. SO, this year about a month into school, her hair starts to smell again. This month I can’t seem to keep it clean, it is so oily and it gets so smelly! We used to wash it twice a week, and she bathes every day. SO, what I am asking is this. She is my only child so I don’t know what is normal ect.. What is the consenses on hair washing at 9 years old. Is it common they need their hair washed more frequently at age 9 WITHOUT CAH? I am starting to wash it every other day now to keep up with the smell and oiliness. Is this a CAH thing? Is it a pre-puberty thing? Is this a normal 9 year old thing? And the emotionalness returned today. Although it could have been related to a very long day yesterday with company here. I just don’t know. Perhaps the kids shampoos aren’t cutting it anymore and should buy an adult shampoo? Maybe I should get her blood work done. It has been really good. Maybe things have changed again! UGGGGH! Help this crazy mom! Thanks everyone!
