I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little more of what to expect for my daughter who is 2 and a half.  i understand that they give a solucortef shot before they put them to sleep.  How did your kids do with that?  I was wondering if there is further blood draws after the surgery to check levels before you can go home.  Are there bandages that need to be changed in the hospital?  Do the parents do this, or the nurses.  Also after leaving the hospital I read there is normal bathing and diapering, does that include changing any dressings or bandages?  Thanks in advance, I am trying to prepare in advance for as much as I can.
