That is the reason why her levels are high, the cortef wears off in 6 to 8 hours.  Now if she gets a 3am dose and gets her labs at 8 or 9 then it would be 5 or 6 hours into her meds (I wouldn’t go past 8 hours without meds to do labs), will give them a good idea of how she is metabolizing the cortef.
