I am the mother of a 10 y/o SWCAH child and will be having a brain cyst biopsy and drainage on December 19th.  I am so scared. I think the biggest part of my anxiety is not being there for my son.  My husband knows how to take care of him, but I have always been the one in charge (appts., ordering meds, advocating, making sure he gets his labs every 3 months, etc.)  I will be in the neuro ICU for the first 1-2 days.  I have never been away from my kids.  Only to work and back.  Please keep my family in your prayers.  Thank you - Tiffaney

P.S. I am a nurse in the ER, which I think makes it worse.  I know too much about all the things that can go wrong.
