That was very interesting.  I had to skim it mostly but it doesn’t really surprise me.  When my kids are on IV cortef after a crisis and they are finally stabilized, they go manic!  They are happy and giddy.  I couldn’t imagine what that would do to someone who doesn’t have any trouble producing cortisol.  I guess if they’re considering the treatment of depression with moderate IV cortef, they would first have to test to make sure that the person doesn’t overproduce cortisol because that can cause depression and I would think not be a good thing.  Who knows?  I can tell you after seeing my girls on their stress doses, I’ve considered sneaking a couple cortef on my "gloomy days" just to see if I could bounce off the walls like them.  LOL!  :)
