M1I spend a lot of time reading about this kind of stuff. I also am in contact with children that have behavior issues, so I find a lot of this stuff interesting.
My brother has symptoms of Locah, so does my aunt. But my aunt looks more Cushingoid, and now my brother does. They both have are bipolar. But somehow I feel that perhaps they do have locah or are carriers and it is connected to their bipolar dx. But what I can’t figure out is the Cushingoid features. So maybe they are just carriers. I don’t know.
Nobody in my family will listen to me so it’s frustrating for me. My aunt has type 2 diabetes and my brother was/is prediabetic if he isn’t now. Both have high blood pressure. I just wish I could help them somehow
I find is strange that I am the only one that has been dxed with cah, the one with the symptoms severe enough for a dx, and I’m the normal one, lol! The same with my 2 children. My girl has locah and is treated, but she has always been pretty easy going, then there is my carrier son that can get high strung and demanding at times.
I will have to read about Cyclothymia, I’ve never heard of that one before. Thanks for your post. I know that there are many talented people that are bipolar. I also have come across a few that will not take meds for it because they say it stifles their imagination or creativity. I’m hoping that they aren’t the ones that go into rages! I’ve heard of rages but never has my brother been like that, nor did he ever want to commit suicide. I think there are way to many angles to this bipolar thing that they can tack that label on pretty much anybody with mental issues. Take care.
