Hi Eden, I have an article that Kelly Leight emailed to me regarding this. Carriers are definately predisposed. I printed it out and gave it to my son’s new counselor. (he just started seeing him last week) 

 If you ever do take Cortef for any reason please post your experience here. It will definately help me for one.

 My son is only 10 so we haven’t really hit the rough patches yet. I am more worried for him than I am my locah daughter in regards to what is in store for his future. I know how to take care of her, but if there is no treatment option carrier wise as far as cah goes...then I can’t do anything. There are many people that take antidepressants and don’t really reap any benefits. I wonder if something like lack of cortisol can have something to do with that.

 If anything my true goal is to treat the root of the problem, not mask the symptoms. Know what I mean? Take care :o)
