I think Brittany that yo uwill do good things and please don’t take anything i wrote in that post to be against your idea becuase mine was just one personsfeeling. Those surgeries were done to me at age five and i had to dea lwith having a cathadar stuck through my pelvic area to my bladder while what the surgeon did to me heal and I just couldn’t out dealt with any extra people hovering around. i needed my strenth to deal with what was happening to me. The other kids on the floor had cancer and might not even be here today. I just coudn’t imagine being a cancer survivor myself two years and to have to deal with someone that I had no idea about that wants this social stuff whereas my goal is trying to live at the moment. The best thing at the hospital was my Teddy Bear. So you really never had any medical conditions? let me tell ya about drawing blood at the U of Mich...they would herd ya in to an empty room with a school desk and be up against the wall ..then one by one ,,we would get the blood drwan with the other kids watching - nobody cried - that place made you tough, or, instead of the rooooooom and you were with a parent an out patient thang you just wouldn’t understand  I would get on my tippy toes add throw th one are into the sign in window and they would get the blood then.  Out there and relief to see sunshine after getting pawed by a bunch of medical students and you want a social thing ...gee what went on at the hospital? Well they all took a peek at my genital area and they were happy ...then the Endo came in and did the same thing as the watched  .....oh then the time when the surgeon had me slide down on his finger because he wanted to check the surgery before having a period ..this isn’t fun stuff kiddo but it is what happened so now you want me to share and be chummy with some kid that might go tell others what was done to me ?
