My daughter has been diagnosed with croupe again this year and the dr put her on Prednizone this time...Her PCP already knew she was on Cortef but ordered it for her anyway...the change is dramatic. i feel so bad for her. i dont think she knows if shes coming or going and she is very very emotional. Luckily we are tapering her dose down this week and she will be back on her normal Cortef by Saturday...Its just so amazing how fast the changes take place with the Prednizone. Im a little scared for her to ever be on it after seeing her like this.
