Our 7 year old SWCAH daughter didn’t like kindergarten, she thrived in grade 1 where it became more challenging, and now in grade 2 she is not enjoying it as much.  She is bored with school this year and does not find it challenging enough.  She thrives on learning more and more and more, and when it doesn’t come fast enough or interesting enough she is bored.   So that is just another aspect to look at, but definately it is worth meeting with your son’s teacher to discuss possibilities - learning problems, being bored because not challenging enough, teasing, personality clash with teacher, behavioural problems etc.  The list is endless, and really there are just some kids who don’t like school from the day they start until the day they finish.
