elaine e.thanks for writting big, it sure helps. back in the late 50’ and early 60’s they gave big doses of cortisone like in 70 mgs range, because most babys in the early 50,s died with in their one year of birth, it was something like 1 in 1000, swcah births that lived. so in the late 50’s they started to give swcah big doses of cortisone, and the doctors found theses babys were living pass there first birthday. when i was young i had way too much cortisone. the doctors did not lower my cortisone until 1970’s. so because of too much cortisone i have cushioing symdrom, which causes weakness of the muscles and many other problems. the symtom you can see is a big hump just at the neckline on your back and a big wieght gain about 100 pounds or more over a very few months. i also have very old bones about 70 year old. i am 49 years old. i also was born with a hip turn sideways that was never treated.
how old are you ? if you were born in the 1970’s you don’t really have to much to worry about being overtreated to that degree. i think is just the high doses us older cah had to go though, i think that is why we are all getting bone problems, the older group.
your back or legs can cause foot pain i have foot cramps that curl up my hole foot, it is just a reminder i am still alive, lol.
hope this helps you some. don’t worry be happy.
