BuggsHi Elaine,
Thanks for writing back. I don’t have to go back to work until friday night so I like to spend time at the computer.
I’m 36 but look in my 20’s according to others and really for many things feel more in my 20’s than 30’s >( : P ) I have been keeping up on what you write. So? it was the larger doses of cortisone at the time period ok, I look at how each generation of medical knowledge helps the next. I have osteophorosis but take fosomax plus D ,that medication is expensive even with insurance and I hit the endo office up for samples - I do try and give them doughnuts or bagels every once in awhile for that. Me and my endo are going to switch to Boniva (sp) which is only once a month. I know about the bone age thing and having to be in the ex-ray room alone and having your hands spread on that grid as the picture was taken ...not sure what my bone age is but do remember that when I was 12 that it was 16.
I bet that that the CALI weather is helpful? I know when the weather is going to change down here because I can feel it in my bones.
Another thing that I was wondering about was the eyes because I’ve read that long term cortsione use causes cataracts and the here you like print bigger. I don’t know if is my imagination but night driving isn’t the same and I’m sober too !!
I went to my first casino and thought about you as I was walking through. It’s not Las Vegas yet but it’s ours.
I do enjoy reading what the "older folks" write as it gives me an idea on what to look for. Peeps be lookin for me to write positive things .... (written with a smile on my face ; ) ) what do I look the positive piped piper? But this is positive .....I went through menopause either from the thyroiditis but like fer sure ; ) the rad/chemo from cancer and menopause actually was a relief and no trouble what so ever for me with CAH.
All the best and Happy Holidays,
Aimee
