Our first child does not have any problems.  Our second child, a son died of a kidney condition.  We then had our SWCAH child and decided not to have another child even though we wanted three children.  We had already been through enough and felt we couldn’t go through anymore.  Our SWCAH child is now 10 years old and I still would have liked more children, but we knew we couldn’t bear to watch another child suffer through all the shots, labdraws, illnesses, etc.  We are happy with this decision and may eventually enjoy being a foster parent one day.
