Eric B...I have no idea what just happened (Danny?) or why my partial post was sent, but to continue...
...That is, if we were able to have children at all.
2. The advice we received by a genetic counsellor was to NOT test my sperm count until after we had tried "the good old fashioned way" for a few months. The feeling was this: by getting TOO scientific about the process, and not focusing on the love and the beauty of trying to conceive, people often stress out, and reduce the likelihood of conception. We know many couples without CAH who struggled to have children until they just... relaxed.
This worked for us. As a couple blessed with amazing fertility, we succeeded within two months EVERY time we tried. Thank you, God.
So, if my Endo is to be believed, men with CAH should be able to conceive. If they cannot, it is more likely to do with other factors than CAH.
I hope the above helps, and that you and your boyfriend have a joyous holiday season --
Best, Eric
