LauraWe didn’t have any of those problems. But I know I did myself when I had a fatty tumor removed from my leg once. It turned out I was allergic to whatever they stitched me with. I was insane with the itching! BUT I know today, years later they use hypo allergetic materials. BUT also, my daughter that has SWCAH, was given a hospital bracelet a year ago while she was going through some routine asthma clinic stuff, and her entire wrist broke out in hives. AND it was hypo allergetic. So go figure. If they gave you a number to call after the surgery, call it and ask them what you can do for this. I am itching just thinking about it. Call and let us know what they suggested. Ask if you can soak her bottom in AVEENO oatmeal bath powder. It is an all natural bath soak. BUT if they are little, hold on tight to them when you take them out of the bath because they are slipperyier than a jello square on a hot day. I also put a towel on the bottom of the tub when my daughter baths in this AVEENO stuff so when she stand up she doesn’t slip. Take all precautions. My daughter is queen of rashes, and itchies so we bath her in it frequently. Good luck!! Let us know!
