I have a 20 month old son who was diagnosed with CAH.  It was such a shock when he was born.  He is our first child.  We are now in the process of deciding what to do about another child.  Our endocronoligist told us to just adopt, it’s less worrysome.  However, I loved being pregnant and would really like to do it again.  But, I don’t think I could go through that trauma again.  Did anyone take the dexama . . whatever steroid when you were pregnant with your 2nd or 3rd child?  That doesn’t always sound like the answer either.

Our friends who have kids my son’s age are starting to have more children.  I want another child or two so bad, but I guess I am worried to death.  My in-laws don’t take CAH seriously.  They think it’s just no big deal and I am an overprotective first time mom.  Help!  I need some advice
