I wish I knew that answer!
I’m the grandmother & have been raising my grandson for 7 yrs now. He is 10 yrs old with SWCAH.  His other grandparents are the only one’s that watch him for me.

They have the shot kit, the info from Cares & his emergency letter from the endo explaining about the adrenal crisis explaining it all! They don’t take it seriously & forget to give him his meds. WHen he’s sick they forget to do the double doses etc.  They have been on his check ups & have met the endo.

I will give them all the instructions in writing when I take hin to there house but..... they don’t remember & think well he’s ok etc. ........

I have basically given up on them!!! His best friends mother that has only know my grandson for a couple of years does a terrific job. As far as the rest of the family goes including my sisters, mother and aunts still don’t have a clue! They think I baby him and I’m over reacting.
