Valerie - also note that NCAH and LOCAH are the same thing (non-classical = late-onset), and there is a LOCAH-specific board here. LOCAH varies in intensity - some of us with LOCAH do need to be on steroids for the rest of our lives, and some will never even start on them and be OK.

At first, your son’s reaction to the steroids is apt to be a bit more dramatic than it will be as time goes on.
