Hi all!  Abby went back to school yesterday and today they had their winter festival party.  They watched the movie "Jungle to Jungle" which apparently had a scene where someone presses their finger on another persons throat and they pass out.  So after the movie, the kids were all talking about this.  Many of the kids were telling the others about the "choking game".  GOD BLESS my daughter!  She came home and told me how fun her day was and then promptly asked me about this.  She said she was curious because the kids told her it felt good when you pass out.  We had a long conversation about all of it and I told her if she does this- plain and simple she could die.  She said "no, they just wake up and feel good".  OMG!  It’s nothing to mess around with.  I am floored!  She is in the 5th grade and they are doing this?  I’m just so thankful that she trusted and felt comfortable with me enough to tell me this.  I hope she keeps this up as a teen.
