Yes, it was an ACTH stim test. Apparently the results were confusing to the endo and the NIH, so even though I’ve been suffering from the symptoms of adrenal problems, no diagnosis came from the testing, and so no treatment. Apparently my cortisol and aldosterone levels read high that day, while my 17-ohp and 17-oh-pregnenolone and other steps in the chain to get to cortisol and aldosterone were far below normal. And other hormone levels were contradictory. Due to the seeming impossibility, the endo eventually declared that I was trying to fake the test. Though from what I’ve been reading, it could have been a result of the quercetin I didn’t know I was taking. I don’t have a whole good site to read, just urls to medical papers. As a product it’s usually advertised as "for men". Now that I quit the rooibos tea, I still suffer from the adrenal symptoms :(
