It is shocking that we are actually allowed to take syringes on board a plane without question!  We have our daughter’s emergency injecting kit and we have a signed letter from her doctor, but we have never been asked to explain the syringe being taken on board a plane.  For all the so called anti-terrorism security measures taken at airports, people are allowed on board planes with syringes without explanation.  Syringes could be as lethal as a gun or knife.
