One of my biggest frustrations with the schools is how often they show movies that the content  has nothing to do with the curriculum.  They watch it, just for fun.  Why in the world would a school show a movie that has a scene in it as you described.  Movies should have to be screened before they are allowed to be shown in the schools.  All I hear is  how there is no time for anything because of the proficiency tests, but my kids come home and tell be they see movies unrelated to school on a regular basis.  I too would be having a serious discussion with the principal and possibly the superintendent.
