Hi, I feel in no way qualified to answer your question except I am a mom of a daughter with CAH and have had these same concerns.  I feel for you.  All I can say is take your time and don’t feel pressured by any one to do surgery.  Only after you research and research some more will you know what to do.  What is nice is your daughter is old enough to give you her opinion on how she feels about her body.  Clitoris’s can vary in shape and size and at the onset of puberty and after, a visible clitoris is not abnormal in any healthy young women.  However only you and your daughter can make this decision and maybe some teens or young adults will be kind enough to share their feelings if they did not have surgery as an infant.  I found their stories and opinions very helpful.  If she is not concerned at this age with her genitals, maybe you could take a wait and see attitude.  You as her mother know her and her circumstances best .  She’ll do great.  If down the road you and your daughter decide on surgery, be careful who does it.  Take care
