I can totally understand and relate to your daughter.  Although I was diagnosed with SWCAH at 2 weeks old, I understand totally with the enlarged clitoris.  I’m 21 years old now and have married a man who completely understands my disease and has no problem with me down there.  He does not make fun of me, nor has he ever questioned it.

It’s definitely hard to deal with as you get older and you always feel awkward around females, guys, and just your peers in general.  Even though this may be something she may experience, I am here to tell you that if you just tell her what my mother told me (and I feel its true) that no two clitoris’s are alike.  My mother is a nurse and has seen many different sizes.  I believed her and I have not felt as bad since.  Plus I started to realize that most guys could not tell the difference anyway.  It was just my own self image problem and I needed to realize that men cannot figure thoughs things out most the time.  Just support your daughter and she’ll be able to grow up and be a confident young woman. 

Thats the best advice I can give.  I understand the whole self image problem and trying to deal with the fact that I felt awkward around my peers, but I came to those two conclusions and I felt so much better in the long run.  Good luck and if you have any other questions feel free to email me at ebryan09@hotmail.com
