I’m sorry to hear your friend is having such a difficult time, and hopefully the links provided (thanks Megan!) will help. Perhaps the Question and Answer page (http://www.cahclan.org/displaylinks.php?pagecat=qa) on the Vietnamese home-page will be most useful for her - we have tried to translate some of the most commonly asked questions by families we’ve met, andHsu and Rivkees kindly gave us permission to translate many of the FAQs from their great book, so there is some very useful information there. Also Prof Garry Warne’s booklet (as also linked to) is a great resource.
Sometimes actually connecting with other people is the best thing of all, and I’m happy to say that may soon be a reality - there is a wonderful Vietnamese lady who is starting a blog for Vietnamese CAH friends by the end of February, and we will certainly have a link to that blog-site... this may represent a means for your friend to connect with a Message Board just like this one in the very near future - except all in Vietnamese!
