Dear Audra,
Just to share the true story of my dd.
For the first month in life, She takes more than 0.1mg of florinef everyday. It is said to reduce her potassium level near to 5. However, dispite high dose of Florinef, her potassium level always high (i.e above 6 in the morning, under 6 in the evening). The next three month, her level of florinef reduces a little bit but her potassium level goes better??? However, she’s extremely fat with moon face and big belly and thin skin.

Fortunately, then I meet an expert, he reduce the florinef to 0.05mg (1/2 of tab) a day. The test result comes with potassium at 5. And she is thinner. For your information, he also reduce hydrocortisone also.

Frankly, I did not know anything about salt replacement until I found this website. That is why when I meet the above expert, I am really supprised when he ask me whether my dd uses salt replacement.

I wish you have chance to meet an expert.
Good luck!
