I’m not a doctor nor a nurse and don’t have any idea if you may or may not have any type of CAH but wanted to write anyway.

You wrote that after taking something called Actos that your testosterone levels "did in fact decrease but not as much as he would have liked" It is my uneducated guess that the reason you weren’t tested for CAH at this time period was because of that decrease and the Doc wants to give the Actos only three more months to see any further results. Right know he isn’t  sure what you have and is using this time period as discovery/investigating. Three months down the road? it might turn out that you do have some form of CAH like Late Onset or you don’t and it is PCOS or it might turn out that you have LOCAH and PCOS plus something else....did they check your thyroid?   

This message board is wonderful to learn about CAH and I believe on the Late ONset board that they write about having CAH plus PCOS. I have SVCAH and I also had a cyst on an ovary. Medicine isn’t perfect and it is always learning.
