As a matter of fact, I am so blessed to have my endo. We were with a wicked one who did unknowingly evil things to  my kids (like put them on a dex pill rather than the elixir, and was not clear that the meds needed to be given in the a AM, and not PM). Since we changed to my current endo, who actually wrote the book on CAH, things have stabilized (weight, etc). But the damage was done.  Now we are trying to fix him. He is on 1.4ml of dexamethasone elixir. I have asked about other meds, but this seems to work, and because it is an elixir the dosing becomes so exact. My kid was so over-supressed it seems to have affected not only his weight but also his growth (hence the upcoming growth hormone that is sitting in my fridge). And in 5th grade the height thing becomes way more apparent. If my kid could grow 4-5 inches, we would be golden for a while. LOL.
