Hi Barbara--

   My SWCAH daughter has had ear tubes placed twice. I talked to the endo about it both times before we went in and her wrote orders for solucortef for during the surgery and told us to stress dose her the night before the surgery and a couple of days after. I would give the solucortef order to the hospital staff at the pre-op so it was in her chart and then remind them before they would take her away for the procedure.

   Oh- and both times the surgery was out-patient. All in all it really wasn’t that bad- she was up and running around before the day was out!
