  Even though I was able to stop taking the Dex because we found out we were having a boy, I would do it all over again. The only thing I experienced while taking it for the time that I was on it, was insomnia. But, I also think that a good way to look at it is that you can stop it at any time. Just a tip.....wean off it at whatever point you do stop taking it!! I was told to just stop it, and I was in the bed for 2 days with a headache like I have never had before! And I have seen other people say they had the same experience when stopping it. But I do think that if there is a chance to stop the virilization in a little girl with CAH, that is huge. We have been through the surgery with our daughter and that is so tough. Good Luck, you just have to look at all of the pros and cons and do what you feel is right for you!!
