We are also well versed in airline travel with our shot kit... it has never been a problem. I have a doctors note in the bag just in case.

FYI -- Although there are strict limitations on fluids.. ie nothing more than 3 oz and using a clear quart size bag etc... IF you have a medical need (like taking medication for a CAH kid) you CAN have water or juice with you also.
So - I put a small water or two and a juice (whatever I can fit into the bag) into our shot kit bag. The airport security did question the drinks at first but when I explained it was for the medical need they were fine with it - no questions asked. I offered to show the medical note but they declined to look at it.
CAH can have its advantages! :) Even if it’s just the ability to get through security with a drink.

As a side note -- I don’t understand how a bottle of water is oh so dangerous but the needles and vial of "medicine" they don’t question? So weird!
