Congratulations on the baby girl!  We found out when my son was two weeks old and the best thing that I have done is to study as much as I can and do my best to accept it and understand it.  But, you do have to be careful to not let it consume you.  You can’t let CAH define who you are as a mother or who your child is.  Also, try to find you a regular pedi and endo who are somewhat familiar with CAH.  The CARES foundation has a list of endos in your area or state.  We found one five hours from us, but he is supposed to be an expert, so it’s worth our time.  Don’t ever be afraid to ask your drs questions.  Remember, you pay them to help you.  So, make sure you get your moneys worth.  Good Luck with everything!
