Thanks for answering Kathy. The reason behind my asking is because right now my daughters 17 ohp is running low, but her dhea and androstenedione are on the high end...BUT her Cortisol read 3! at 9am in the morning, 5 hours fater her 3am dose.

I can’t figure this out the the endo has not called back. The nirse called me with the results and just said for her to stay on the same dose nothing more.

Well I’m not happy with the low 17 ohp, or the low cortisol, or the high andro and dhea.....so what to do cause the endo isn’t listening.

Took my daughter to her new pedi, and she is wondeful. She is having ultrasounds done on my daughters thyroid, and ovaries, tesing the throid hormones, insulin and LH, FSH and a bunch of other stuff.

But I still don’t get why her 17 ohp could be that low and her cortisol be low too.
