My son and I had a nurse come over last night and give us injection training for Nutropin AQ. That was stressful enough. When my son was out of the room, I asked about side-effects, because so many people have so many different answers (including the manufacturer). She did say that headaches may be a side-effect. the headache would mimic a migraine, as it would be localized. However nothing will help the headache (darkness, meds, etc). It is actually the brain swelling and pressing against the skull. Well nothing shocks me anymore, so I figure to myself: not too horrible. Well wouldn’t you know, my son wakes up with a headache, and later in the day he says it hurts on only one place. I have already emailed my endo and am waiting for his input on this. Has anybody used growth hormone, and had side effects so immediately? I would think he needs more than one dose to build up to a headache. Are there any side effects anybody can share with me that I need to keep an eye out for? Thank you in advance.
