To "To Michele",
You are making one mistaken assumption. Someone born with complete AIS (CAIS) can never successfully choose to be male by any commonly accepted standard of maleness. Whether they keep their undeveloped testes for gonads or not. Whether they choose to take steroids or not. The steroids won’t work. They can never have a male genitalia, even the sex changes given to (female to male) transsexuals require that steroids be used to enlarge their clitoris, beforehand. Someone with CAIS has even less choice with what they can be than the ordinary person does.
This was medical error that Dr Phil also repeated on his show recently.
