Cherry LaneI understand your reasoning for making the post about CAH. I also agree with you as there are a lot of terrible disease’s that children have to endure daily. Since this is a cah board I expect to see people on here whining and complaining about there illness or there childs. How could ANYONE compare one illness to another? Do you think a mothers pain is less when her child has no legs as to a mothers who’s child has no sight? Could you choose one or the other for your child? EVERY parent wants a healthy child and EVERY child (person wants to have a clean bill of health) We all have our burdens and pains to bear. Some handle the stress of illness and DEATH different than others. Maybe if you asked Sabrina Ireland who lost her Daughter to CAH if she would prefer to have her child still here? ( She NEVER complained WHINED or bitched about the CAH condition of her child.) But she now mourns for her sweet baby girl and would trade everything she has to have her back. I don’t know where you were going with your comparison of different disease’s. If you were trying to help us see that things could be worse We are all aware of that. We are all trapped in a body or mind set that at times we would change. There is no need to make a gender identity disease a focus on a CAH board. It is confusing enough to preach to the choir about this over and over. CAH is a adrenal disorder that can KILL our children if left untreated or medication is not given at the right time (emergency). I hope you were just trying to help and not meaning to be insensitive. We all feel the pain of an imperfect world?
