Kathy,

Even though we got off on the wrong foot, I want you to know that I do admire you for standing up for your beliefs.  That is what this whole forum is about.  Talking about CAH, talking about how we feel, and dealing with this with other members who have the same problem.  I dont know about your son, but I have never grown up around anyone with CAH, and I thought I was the only one.  I always told my pediatric doctor that I wanted him to give my information to any of the CAH patients he had.  He never did cause he was never a truly friendly doctor.  This board has been a good place for all of us.  And hearing of your sons story, truly touched me.  I’ve been throug a lot, but he has been through so much more and to come out of all of it a strong boy, makes me even more impressed.  Don’t stop posting because like you, I misunderstood you, but that doesnt mean I want you to stop posting your beliefs.  Good luck Kathy and I hope all goes well.

Kathy W,

I appreciate you understanding where I came from.  Some people do jump to a conclusion, but they then realize once they hear the full story that we do not mean harm to others.  I’ve forgiven some of them for being kind.  Kathy is by far one of them for being kind after hearing my full story.  Some of the others have not been so kind and to me should have kept their mouths shut if they had nothing nice to say.  But that is how the world works and to me, I am fine with it.  To me I count my blessings that I was diagnosed with a disease that could kill me that has no cure.  There are so many people out there that don’t realize that we could have so many other problems where we had a number of when we’re going to die and there is nothing to help us.  I do appreciate your support though and looking beyond what I have said.  It makes me glad that some people can read it and understand.

Thank you so much Kathy W.

Talk to you later and good luck with everything, keep your head up as well :-)

Good luck with the twins, husband, and teaching.

Liz

Btw, do your twins have CAH? I do not know much about the people on this board.
