We had a meeting to discuss my daughter at school. She has a 504 plan. This is a list of instructions for emergency medical concerns. We have 2 people at school trained and willing to give the shot if needed, and always keep advil, tylenol and cortef on hand. This has not "labeled" my daughter but will hopefully give those who could help her the instructions and medicine to help her. From this she is allowed a water bottle at her desk and is allowed snacks if she needs them. Otherwise there are no other special priveledges given. Some equate 504 only with Special Ed but really it is for those with medical concerns as well. Another gilr with diabetes has a 504 also. Julia
